The trip will cover all your lodging and meals. While in Israel, a couple of assigned meals are left for the participants to purchase in the places we will be visiting. The payment also covers all transportation and entrance fees.
Yes. Our price includes the airfare to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International airport (ATL).
We will then be charging only for the actual trip, not airfare. This will save you approximately $1,600.00.
All of the lodgings are minimum 4 stars. Where 5 stars are available, we will be enjoying the 5 star option. The same applies with food: We have ordered top standard food.
Rabbi Yossi Lew is a Chabad Rabbi who has recently opened Chabad in Peachtree City, Georgia. Rabbi Lew has been to Poland (and then Israel) on four different occasions as a staff member of the March of the Living. Rabbi Lew had written a daily blog each time he was on this trip. His writings have been turned into a soon-to-published book on this adventure, after thousands of hours of research in this topic. Rabbi Lew has become very passionately knowledgeable about the Holocaust, and he is very fit to be leading this group.
Those from Peachtree City have been given first digs. If you’re not from Peachtree City and you’re reading these words, the trip has been opened to you as well.
All the foods served on this trip will maintain the highest standards of deliciousness (of course!) and Kosher. Prayer opportunities are provided each day. The Shabbos will be observed in the form of no traveling and driving during those days, and with more lavish food. The trip, however, will not impose any religious standards on any of its participants. Mutual respect and honor will be accorded to every single participant.
While the trip is a family oriented one, much of our Poland segment may be difficult for anyone under 15.
Free walking about is held to a minimum on such trips. We will be staying in hotels and traveling on buses, visiting secure locations. On one of our days in Israel, when we feature the trip to the holy city of Hebron, we will be on “reinforced” buses, providing us with extra security. While nothing is ever guaranteed, the trip will take all security measures, and do so with utmost seriousness.
Two preparation classes will be held in May, 2016 a few weeks prior to departure. The classes will be held via the computer. All participants are strongly encouraged to participate in those classes.
If you cancel by December 31, 2015, the deposit will be refunded. Thereafter, $500.00 will be deducted from your deposit on the first of each month. After April 1, 2016, we will be unable to refund any part of the deposit.
Not at all. You may pay by check, or via any other means as well.
By January 15, 2106, we will need half of the amount. The full amount must be paid by February 15, 2016. If a different arrangement is necessary, please contact Rabbi Lew.
Sure! Please call Rabbi Lew for any further details and information: Cell: 678-595-0199. Email: [email protected]. Rabbi Lew will be very happy to discuss any matter with you.
